What will you learn by joining the International LPC?  The course content is separated into blocks for the year program.  The four blocks are Foundation, Skills, Advanced Practice and Enrichment.


This block is designed to give students the grounding necessary to fully participate the later course content.  In this block you will learn:

  •  Legal systems (incorporating business structures and commercial awareness)
  • Introduction to contract and tort
  • Legal language
  • Introduction to skills


This block will give students all of the skills necessary to practice law in a real world setting.  In this block you will learn:

  •  Interviewing
  • Advocacy
  • Negotiation
  • Writing
  • Drafting
  • Legal research
  • Introduction to business accounts


This section allows students to select two subject modules related to international practice.  In this block you have the option to learn:

  • International dispute resolution/arbitration
  • World intellectual property organizations
  • World trade organizations
  • International competition law


The enrichment block is designed to offer students the opportunity to practice and further develop the skills they are learning as part of the International Legal Practice Course.  In this block you will take part in:

  • Court visits
  • Inn visits
  • Negotiation exercises
  • Workshops
  • Observations
  • Law clinics
